Snow at Moor View

Being open all year we see the best and the worst of weather, in fact Salcombe a few miles from us gets the mildest mainland climate in the UK. But living in South Devon we normally miss the really cold snowy weather - but not this year!! Fortunately it doesn't appear to be anywhere near like the heavy snow that the rest of the country has had, in fact it looks rather nice....

Being a caravan park in Devon we get caravans and motor homes with us throughout the year. Lots of people came down for Christmas and New Year, before the snow arrived. It wasn't until the majority of guests left that the snow fell. As we have centrally heated facilities on ourDevon Caravan Site for Adults Only, guests still seem to be happy. We have great restaurants and good pubs in our area of South Devon within two minutes is also a brilliant Spar Shop, so even if the weather had been really bad, food and drink are still be on hand!! We are also close to the old market town of Modbury which has some excellent individual shops, including a baker, butcher and delicatessen.
We even have our first daffodil out - roll on Spring:
